Hey guys! Pinkie Happy This will be my first con, and my first time selling prints and merch of my stuff. I have no idea what I'm doing though. Embarassed So, I was wondering how many prints or pieces I'll need to get so I don't sell out, and what are the usual prices on things like prints? Thanks!

Hi there! Have you applied for a table? Each application goes through review before they're approved or not Pinkie Smile

Anyway! I do a lot of conventions as an artist. So if you are accepted as an artist this year, here is what I suggest:

- Make at least one convention exclusive print and only print 15 to 20 of them. This way, people have something to remember you by and feel special getting an exclusive print! Be sure never to reprint them and let people know that once these are sold, they're gone for good!

- Pricing can vary. Usually I make my 11x17 prints at $25 for exclusive one time only prints and then $20 for ones I plan to reprint. For 8.5x11 I charge $15.

- Be sure to bring business cards, flyers, or other things that have your info on them so people know who you are later on!

- Don't forget to bring art supplies so you can do requests! Also bring reference pictures in case someone wants a background pony or something that you don't know by heart.

If you need any other advice, let me know!

Thanks, that helps alot! Pinkie Happy I actually just applied for my table yesterday, but I haven't checked my e-mail yet. My only question now is how many regular, non-con exclusive pieces will I need? I mean, I don't wanna run out of prints on the first day, so how many do artists usually sell without going out of stock?

Honestly it just depends. Some cons you will sell out of a print, other cons you will sell 2. It's just a hit or miss type of deal Pinkie Smile My suggestion is just to have a variety of prints and maybe 10 of each if it's your first run!
