Can you tell I love alliteration? Since this has been announced and even before, I had ideas for MLP centered panels, and here's a few, with rough descriptions
Overanalyzing MLP: Kind of a nod to Overanalyzers on Cinemassacre, who try to apply logic and ask questions that might not be meant to have answers, I thought we could do something similar with MLP. Why do certain animals talk? Why do the ponies raise pigs? Backstory of the Alicorns, that sort of thing.
Pony Crossovers: This is more an art based idea, though I'd be open to discussing fanfiction that involves this as well. The crossover of otaku and other fandoms to MLP fandom is impressive and the visual art representations bear this out. Adventure Time, various anime and manga, various sci fi and fantasy fandoms, the list goes on
Pony Shipping Wars: We all know the popular ones: FlutterDash, AppleRarity, even TwilightPie to some extent if we're matching up the Mane 6. But some people insist on FlutterMac, and let's not even get started on LyraBon and OctaviaScratch.
Equestria, An Introduction: This would be more factual than the stuff that's more headcanon/fanon based with Overanalyzing. Explaining locations, checking out the official and unofficial maps, species that exist, that sort of thing.
Prohibited Ideas Below
<Ponies After Dark-This one will have more practice than the other two, which would be debut, more than likely. And the content will be more adult in nature, so, if it's allowed, it will likely be in the minority, along with a potential Futashy panel. The idea is looking at risque, sexy and explicit pony art. I was originally thinking we could include stuff with ponies cursing and such, but that created too large a group of pictures to look at and we'd likely only get an hour and a half maximum, though 2 hours would be awesome, especially if we can show with prior cons that we need that amount of time.
Let's Talk About Futashy-Simple enough, a discussion of the Futashy universe and tumblr. Thoughts about future posts or developments in the universe (who will be a person and who will be an animal of some form? Spike's in between)>
